How long does ISO 27001 certification take?
It depends on your scope, how much is already in place and how much time your team can commit. Published guidance puts preparation at roughly three to twelve months. We agree a realistic timeline at the start.
Do you work with Vanta or similar compliance platforms?
Yes. A compliance platform helps collect evidence, but it does not write your risk assessment, scope or Statement of Applicability for you. UMISUS fills those gaps and checks the evidence the way an auditor will.
Do you issue the certificate?
No. Certificates are issued by independent Certification Bodies. UMISUS prepares you for the audit, and you choose a JAS-ANZ accredited Certification Body.
Can you do our ISO 27001 internal audit?
Yes. Independent internal audits are a core UMISUS service, for organisations that built their ISMS themselves or with another provider.
